However the most important area of privacy is at the site level, which is not under Aqua Media Direct ™control. However, Aqua Media Direct ™ insists that its websites meet its requirements.

Aqua Media Direct ™ does not own and operate the websites on which it serves ads; rather the websites are owned by third party publishers. As such, we do our best in conjunction to maintain the privacy rights of all users viewing advertising from Aqua Media Direct ™. With that said, Aqua Media Direct ™ maintains strict privacy rules for its publishers and strict privacy rules for the ad units it serves. Internet user privacy and confidentiality is of the utmost importance to Aqua Media Direct ™, our Web publisher members, and our advertiser clients. Our reputation and integrity is directly related to how we serve our clients and customers.

Information We Gather 
Aqua Media Direct ™ gathers the following information about user:  Information that users provide through optional and voluntary submissions. These are voluntary submissions to receive newsletter, site registration information, participate in forums our electronic newsletters, to participate in our message boards or forums, to email a friend, and from participation in polls and surveys and other such registrations throughout the network of websites in the Aqua Media Direct ™ network.

Information Aqua Media Direct ™ gathers through aggregated tracking information derived mainly by tallying page views throughout our sites, usage of web analytics software and services, use of cookies, web pixels and 3rd party advertising serving technology. This information allows us to better tailor our content and advertising to readers' needs and to help our advertisers and sponsors better understand the demographics of our audience. Because Aqua Media Direct ™ derives its revenue mainly from sponsorships and advertising, providing such aggregated demographic data is essential to keeping our service free to users. Children
Consistent with the Federal Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), we will never knowingly request personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13 without requesting parental consent.

SPAM
Aqua Media Direct ™ does not tolerate spam in any shape or form and does it's best to avoid it all costs. In fact Aqua Media Direct ™ does not traffic email advertising as of this writing, however on any website that joins the Aqua Media Direct ™ network, Aqua Media Direct ™ insists that they are CAN-SPAM Compliant according to all federal and state laws in the United States.

Usage tracking
Aqua Media Direct ™ tracks user traffic patterns throughout all of our sites. However, we do not correlate this information with data about individual users. Aqua Media Direct ™ does break down overall usage statistics according to a user's domain name, browser type, and MIME type by reading this information from the browser string (information contained in every user's browser).

Cookies
We may place a text file called a "cookie" in the browser files of your computer. The cookie itself does not contain Personal Information although it will enable us to relate your use of this site to information that you have specifically and knowingly provided. But the only personal information a cookie can contain is information you supply yourself. A cookie can't read data off your hard disk or read cookie files created by other sites. Aqua Media Direct ™ uses cookies to track user traffic patterns (as described above). Our advertising system delivers a one-time cookie to better track ad impressions and click rates.

Non-Disclosure
Aqua Media Direct ™ is committed to protecting the privacy of our publishers, advertisers, and Web site visitors.

Aqua Media Direct ™ does not disclose any of the gathered information to third parties. While Adtegrity.com cannot fully control the actions of their Web site publishers, Aqua Media Direct ™ does require full disclosure of each site's privacy guidelines for every site that serves Aqua Media Direct ™ ads. These privacy policies are reviewed by Aqua Media Direct ™ and subject to Aqua Media Direct ™ direct prior to the website being able to run Aqua Media Direct ™ advertising.

If Aqua Media Direct ™, for any reason uses the personal information that publishers/advertisers have provided about their users, written permission will be obtained before doing so. The exception to this will be that Aqua Media Direct ™ retains the right to utilize the publishers name, trade name and logo in regards to finding, pitching and selling to advertisers. However, as a publisher you can opt-out to being used in marketing material simply by asking your publisher representative.
